Has your personal tank run out of fuel? Not sure how you'll have energy to finish the year strong?
Here's how you can fill up this Season and remain on OVER FLOWI! I want you to live with VIBRANT JOY...even when things can be dry (literally and figuratively) in life.....

Winter is known for hibernation. Spring is considered a time for new beginnings. Summer is time for action. For many Moms, that action includes planning family activities, travel, extra time with the kids, high heat, and back to school prep which can all zap a lot of energy. Post Summertime exhaustion calls for renewal. I like to think of Autumn as a time to personally shed. A season to rid of bad habits, get out of a rut, then REJUVENATE.
Tip #1 - Meet Me Outside!
If weather allows, take advantage of the crisp, cool weather by spending time outdoors. Go for a hike, take a bike ride, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk in a park. The fresh air and natural surroundings can be invigorating. Hiking is one of my favorite activities. Here's a list of some of my favorite SoCal trails.
Tip #2 - Have A Drink
Stay hydrated: Even though the weather is cooler, it's crucial to stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to maintain your energy levels and keep your body functioning optimally. You can also enjoy herbal teas or warm beverages like spiced cider to stay hydrated and cozy.
Tip #3 - Let's Sleep Together (keep ya mind out the gutter)
Maintain a sleep routine: With the days becoming shorter, it's important to establish a consistent sleep routine. Aim for seven to eight hours of quality sleep each night. I know what you're thinking, "This is impossible!" But at least attempt to make better sleep habits. Create a sleep-friendly environment by keeping your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet, and avoid screens before bedtime.
Tip #4 - Move
Stay active: Engage in regular physical activity to boost your energy levels. Regular exercise releases endorphins and helps improve overall well-being. If the weather doesn't permit outdoor workouts, consider trying activities like yoga, Pilates, or indoor exercises. But really, ya'll, it doesn't even have to be an extra expense, a formal setting or class...JUST GET UP AND MOVE...let the endorphins flow (I like to call it a natural happy juice)! Check out my Spotify Playlist and dance like nobody is watching!
Tip #5 - Boost Your Immune System
Embrace seasonal foods to boost your immune system: Incorporate seasonal fruits and vegetables into your diet. Apples, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and squash are all nutritious foods abundant during the fall. Try new recipes and experiment with different flavors to keep your meals exciting and energizing.Additionally, be sure to build a defense against seasonal colds, boost your immune system with vitamin C and zinc. I'll be visiting and posting some great SoCal Farmers Markets on my IG. Here's a comprehensive list of Farmers Markets you can browse for each day of the week, for all SoCal Counties.
Consuming wholesome, nutrient-rich, locally sourced produce is crucial for supplying our bodies with the essential nutrients they require each Season.
Tip #6 - Practice Self-Awareness
Be intentional about doing personal check-ins and practice self-care: Fall can be a busy time, so it's essential to take care of yourself. Set aside time for rest and relaxation, whether it's through meditation, reading a book, taking a warm bath, or indulging in a hobby you enjoy. Prioritizing self-care helps recharge your energy. Check out another one of my Spotify Playlists that I created to help you get cozy and create this Season.
Tip #7 - Gain MOMentum Through Fellowship
Connect with loved ones: Fall often brings people together with holidays like Thanksgiving and Halloween. Take the opportunity to connect with family and friends. Plan 1 on 1 time with a dear friend, gatherings (big or small), share meals, or organize fun activities. Socializing and spending time with loved ones can be energizing and uplifting.
Having A MOMent...your way
Remember, these are just suggestions, and what works best for you may vary. Listen to your body and find activities that bring you joy and energy during the fall season.
Cheers to reigniting in Fall!
